France Continue to Dominate 20 July 2008
France dominated from start to finish in routing Croatia 71-35 to remain undefeated in the U18 European Championship for Women.

Diandra Tchatchouang had 17 points and Allison Vernerey had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds to keep Croatia without a win in the tournament.

Les Bleus led from start to finish, making their move early on, turning a 7-6 edge into a 22-8 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Croatia came back within seven, 26-19, midway through the second period, but France's bench provided a boost of energy and helped them restore a double-digit at the half, 34-21.

If Fedora Kochergina ‘s girls were hoping they could make a push right after the break, they were proved wrong as France held them to just four points in the third quarter, putting the game well and truly out of Croatia's reach.

Mia Carapina had 15 points and seven rebounds for Croatia who were severely hampered by their two for 26 performance from beyond the arc.
